Igår var jag inte på releasefesten. Men nästan :)
"I have bought rum that make you blind. Care to join?" - Tom till Carlijn angående kvällens rabalder.
"It's 11. No more excuses." Lisa till Tom angående medicinering och alkohol.
"Rule #7. Don't follow Chris" Lisa till Tom om våra nya religon med massa härliga regler.
"Hey, calm down. I'm death scared of hookers! The club is clean." Tom till okänd om Bangkoks uteliv.
"Mannen!

Pojken Med Guldbyxorna
Today I brought the BIG wallet and went on a shopping frenzy with Belle. Took the subway to Lumpini Boxing Stadium and towed home 2 pair of boxing gloves, 2 pair of chin pads, 4 handwraps and 5 shiny Muay Thai shorts.
Good day? Good day.
Good day? Good day.
Danish Orange Pastry
I'm at the Bangkok Airways Lounge, Phuket Airport. Heading to Bangkok quite soon.
I have overeaten chocolate cakes & Danish pastries. But they are free so what to do?
I can get used to lounges.

Sometimes you just love...
...Thailand!
Got a flat tire yesterday. Not a major catastrophe but a real setback regarding long distance mobility.
No worries tho. Or local motor shop fixed the tire in 10 minutes and charged 120 Baht only
(30 SEK)!
Days like these you just can't stop loving Thailand.

And in the blue corner!
Every Friday morning we have a MMA Grappling Tournament instead of ordinary MMA training. It goes like this:
1. The MMA class is divided into two groups - Beginner & Intermediate/Advanced (usually 8 people in each group)
2. You state your name and pick a number from 1-8
3. The referee draw lots who's facing who
4. Everyone have at least two fights. The ones with the best results compete in the semi final and then there is a final in each group.
5. The winner from the Beginner group face the winner from the Intermediate/Advanced group
I set up a goal that I would at least win one Friday fight during my stay at Tiger Muay Thai. I Actually cleared that goal two weeks ago when I got Jessica in a choke and she tapped out (gave up).
This Friday (yesterday) I was a bit nervous before the weekly tournament. I sprained my thumb ten days ago and haven't fully recovered yet. My thumb felt kinda OK during warm up but still I was a little bit wired.
The tournament turned out great. I did lost the first fight on points but won my second one. I managed to beat a heavier, bigger AND taller guy through submission. I got him in a triangle choke which kinda looks like this:
Despite the fact that I lost my first fight I still ended up in the semi final. I fought against a fellow Englishman who probably weights about 20-25 kilos more then me, but I'm taller then him. The figh was good, he's strong but I caught him in an arm bar.
Cause I won the semi I made my way to the beginners final! Way further then I expected after 3 weeks of practice. I was psyched.
In the final I was totally dominated. He ended the game in less then a minute. But hey! I totally won two fights and ended up in the final! Real happy!

Is it a bird? A plane? No, it's.. eh eh..?
I guess it may be my hair but wherever I go people tend to give me nicknames and tell that I look like some celebrity. Me as a lookalike vary depending of the origin of the person giving me names.
Here is a selection of nicknames during my journey:
Billy Idol
Lookalike factor: 8
The Jedward Brothers
Lookalike factor: 5
Johnny Bravo
Lookalike factor: 3
According to some Swedish people I also look like some random dude from Paradise Hotel. I don't like Paradise Hotel and definitely donesn't want to be mixed up with someone from the show. So we'll just drop it.

Tom does a "Gudrun" and burn 100 000 in cash!
Yep, as a true feminist (I like girls OK) I decided to follow Miss Schymans PR scoop and burn 100 000 in cash from my own pocket.
With a helpful hand from Jeremy we shot everything in our living room.
Vive Le Resistance!
Do YOU wanna do something for the girls? Follow the 101 Guide to Become a Feminist below.
Step 1. Start out with 100 000 in optional currency
Step 2. Get a lighter
Step 3. Make sure the lighter work properly. I use Hairspray in this example.
Step 4. Set the 100 000 on fire
Step 5. Watch it burn
Step 6. Tell your friends that you from now on are a true feminist!
Notice! Tom does not take any responsibility for injuries or death that may occur as a feminist. Follow the safety regulations in your country and wear proper safety equipment. Fire may be hot under some conditions.

Båtkrascher, falafel & kändisyra
Ok, well done. Another Full Moon Party accomplished. As usual there where some mishappenings. Two motor boats collided pretty bad. The boats ran without lights in the night (a.k.a. Thai style) and 42 people got injured. Two of the passengers wheren't found.
What wasn't found as well was Jeremy's camera. Pocket cams seems to brake/disappear/fail all the time in Asia.
Sunset on the way to Koh Phangan
Anyways, enough of sadness. Full Moon is a happy event. As usual we checked in at Sun Cliff Resort. They are kinda used to have me there now. Jeremy cracked a great smile when the owner said "Hello Tom, you back?" when we arrived. All the cheap bungalows where occupied but she could give us her brothers house if we wanted. The price was 5 000 Baht (! frikking expensive) but we got it for only 2 000 Baht. I'm getting good at bargaining.
Here's some pictures of the place.
No. That is only one picture! Crappy computer...
Oh, funny story. Me and Jerm were strolling down the main road at Koh Phangan when three girls started screaming:
"It's him! Oh my God it's him!"
A second later I had them all over me chatter like crazy. I acted kinda battered, I couldn't figure out which these people were. Althought they seemed to know pretty much about me. They knew my name, where I've been etc. Scary.
I bet 5 minutes passed before I got the picture. I simply couldn't recognize them because I had never met them before. They were friends of Alex and Sarah, two girls I spend time with two months ago. These girls recognized me from Alex and Sarah's Facebook pictures.
When everything were sorted out we laughted. Hysterically.
Haha, even better. Joline, the one who saw me first, thought I was some kind of celebrity. Thanks for that.
After the Facebook stalking we took the new girls to our hearts and spent 3 days with them.
I really like Skane.
Last night at the Island Jeremy broke his personal record and mothed no less than three falafel! Big up.

If I wrote down all my injuries from training this blog would be more like a patient record. Right now both my knees are skinned, thumb dislocated and of course my body is pimped with cuts and bruises. Still, we have a great time here in Phuket.
Me and Jeremy are in training mode right now. We eat, sleep, train and watch TV shows. In a couple of days I'm heading to Phi phi Island. Gonna spend some time with dirty south Swedes.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...
I know. It is as much action on this blog as Home Alone 2. I just been busy.
I promise some updates soon.
See ya!

Run, run!
Just got to Kuala Lumpur. Had to get out of Thailand to get a new 30 days Visa. Back in Phuket tomorrow and then we'll head out to Koh Phangan and Full Moon. Great fun last time! Time for a sequel.
